Deja catch up!

So I feel like I haven't written about Deja enough these past couple months, which scares me because I don't want to forget all the fun things about her at this age (20 months).  Now that I'm actually sitting down to write, hopefully I can remember all the cute things that she's been doing!
-Every thing is a phone to her! (or as she calls it a No-ne) Remotes, Calculators, Toys, Her Hand, it doesn't matter.  I catch her "on the phone" at least once every day. Most of her conversations go like this: "Hello" "jabber jabber" pause "Bye-Bye" repeat.
-She has started doing 2 word phrases! This week she said "More Cheerios" and "Momma Church?"  on two separate occasions.  Her vocabulary has been growing and she'll point out and say different things during our walks like rocks, dogs, airplanes, swings, slides, etc.
-We have 9 o'clock church and since Deja usually sleeps in till 8:30 sometimes we skip breakfast.  Usually this isn't a problem because I bring snacks for her during sacrament meeting, but last Sunday I was even more unprepared than usual.  So after the first hour was over, I'm sure she was starving.  I wasn't too worried about it, but after church John told me that as soon as they got into nursery, she found a little chair to sit on and just sat there moaning, "treats, treats!!" under her breath over and over again.  After a while, John took the hint and gave her some fruit snacks.  It's fun being able to hear stories about her in nursery first hand ;)
-Speaking of which, on another occasion she spilt some water on the carpet during nursery, so she found a paper towel, and went back over to the area of the spill and tried to clean it up.  With the carpet at the church being the way it is, her efforts were probably in vain, but still pretty cute.
-She also loves posing and taking pictures with my cell phone.  When I put the camera setting on she repeats "cheese" "cheese" taking pictures.
-She says the word "Fish" so funny.  I need to get it on camera while it's still going on, but it sounds something like "Bish" with her tongue sticking out through the entirety of the word.
-She has started mimicking other kids which is usually cute, but sometimes frustrating especially when she tries to recreate their yelling out during Sacrament Meeting :/  Today was a struggle
-She can count to 3!

Every once in a while I find deja trying to open cans all by herself.  Our little chef ;)

What I gave my mom for mothers day :)

John had work the day before, so Deja and I stayed busy.

Getting down and dirty in the kitchen. 

Getting comfy on the floor!  She brought the pillow in herself.
Sometimes she'll do this and bring a stack of books to look at as well.
Glad she knows how to relax :)

My good friend Cherish from high school was in from Texas a couple weeks ago, so some of us got together with our kids and had a play date.  The kids loved the Pizza Pocket lunch and playing outside all afternoon!
